Ivy Sun is a Senior Associate at Evident Pros. Ivy brings a strong background in professional accounting that spans almost twenty years. She is a proven accounting professional equipped to address complex challenges via an analytical and forward-thinking approach. Ivy has worked with more than 600 companies in industries spanning oil and gas, engineering consulting, retail, and more.

Ivy holds a Master of Professional Accountancy from Marilyn Davies College of Business at the University of Houston-Downtown, CPA Canada from Edmonton AB, and a Bachelor of Science in Oil and Gas Production at the University of Petroleum in China.

In addition to Ivy’s impressive educational achievements, she worked as an accountant for several years before becoming the owner of Ivy Ground Analysis and Consulting Inc. There, Ivy prepared financial statements, assisted with complex tax planning, established corporate tax returns, filed personal returns for individuals, oversaw payroll, and produced guidance on legal and registration requirements for new businesses. She is skilled in leadership and communication. 

Ivy is fluent in both Mandarin and English and has received the following accolades: CGA Top Ten Recognition Award of Alberta and the Porter Hetu International Award. Ivy is a Board member of the Canadian Chinese School of Theology Calgary, is a Certified Public Accountant in Canada, and is working toward becoming a Certified Public Accountant in the United States.
